Front Desk

Insurance Coordinator

I enjoy talking with patients and helping them feel at home in our office. When someone arrives with a smile, because they’ve been looking forward to seeing us, I’m thrilled! I am responsible for greeting and assisting patients as they arrive, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient accounts. I also help coordinate the dentists’ schedules and bill patients and insurance companies. My career in the field started in 2003 and I joined this amazing office in 2013. We are a family, with a strong work ethic, and we’re committed to providing the best dental care.

I grew up in Burlington, graduated from Burlington High School and Champlain College, and live in St. Albans with my husband and two children. In my free time, I enjoy watching my kids play sports, supporting their various activities, and being with family and friends.

Hygiene Coordinator

When you come in for your appointment, my face is often the first you will see! I am responsible for checking everyone in, answering phones, and helping patients with any questions they may have regarding insurance and appointments. I joined the practice in 2018 after being a patient here for many years. I thought it would be a great place to work because everyone is always so positive and friendly, and I was absolutely correct. We have an amazing team of people devoted to providing the best patient experience possible so that everyone goes away with a smile

I moved to Vermont from Maine in 2013 with my husband, and we built a wonderful life here. Our family grew in 2017 when we welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world. When I’m not working, I’ll probably be cooking, reading, writing, or spending time in nature with my family.

Treatment Coordinator

I like interacting with our patients, especially hearing the latest news and what’s happening with their families. I work in the front office where I help patients schedule appointments and work with them to navigate the intricacies of their insurance plans. I joined the doctors and team in 2012, when I brought with me more than 30 years of experience. This is a remarkable practice: We respect and really like each other, and we feel the same about our patients!

Outside of work, I love spending time with my three grandchildren. They like antiquing and exploring with me. I enjoy reading in my spare time: My new favorite author is David Baldacci.

Registered Dental Hygienist

One of the most enjoyable parts of my work is forming relationships with people and helping them achieve and maintain their strongest oral health. As a dental hygienist, I provide preventive oral care in partnership with my patients. I educate patients about disease risk and treatment appropriate to their needs. I’ve been in the dental field and worked with Dr. Dickinson and this team since 2000. We have a very dedicated, caring, and knowledgeable group of people, all committed to providing the best possible care to our patients.

I live in St. Albans with my husband, two daughters, and our dog, cat, and two Mini Rex bunnies, Ruby and Buttercup. I spend most of my time outside of work volunteering and participating in my children’s activities. When I’ve time for myself, I like running, practicing yoga, reading, and quilting.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I enjoy developing relationships with patients and how those evolve into friendships. I’ve been with this practice since 2002 and have, over the years, developed many valued friends. As a hygienist, I provide a range of preventive and maintenance care, along with patient education so people can take control of their smile’s health. I love that our doctors and my coworkers always have the best interest of our patients at heart and address all of their needs.

When I’m not working, my husband and I are kept busy with our three wonderful and active children. Most of our evenings and weekends involve their baseball, hockey, basketball, soccer, cross-country, skiing, or school events. Our family has the sweetest dog in the world, too: Maggie’s my running partner.

Our patients are a part of my family and I look forward to their visits as time with a friend. I clean teeth, examine patients for signs of gum disease, and provide a range of preventive and maintenance care. I also educate patients on ways to improve and maintain optimal oral health, and encourage each person to make positive changes. I have worked with this practice since 2003 and can’t imagine being anyplace else. We are a family!

I grew up in Texas and, in my second year of college, decided I wanted to move. I landed in Albany, New York, where I met my husband Toby. After completing hygiene school, we settled in Swanton, where he had grown up. We have two daughters and many animals, including a dog, a cat, a tortoise, and many fish. Most of our free time is spent at sporting events.

One of my favorite parts of being a hygienist is how much time I get to spend with my patients. I enjoy getting to know and meeting people within our community. I love hearing stories from my patients and I genuinely care about the ir overall health and well being. Being a dental hygienist gives me the opportunity to form connections and friendships.

Educating patients is something that I love to do. teaching someone the proper way to care for their oral health can make a big impact on their overall health. Making recommendations to my patients to help them achieve their optimal oral health goal is something that I love sharing. The ultimate success to me, is when I have patients that come back with a happy, healthy smile.

When I am not at the office, I enjoy skiing at Smuggs, hiking, cooking, reading, gardening (mostly succulents) and relaxing with my sweet pug.

Dental Assistant

I enjoy talking with patients, seeing them commit to a treatment plan, and supporting them as they achieve their dental goals. Nothing makes me happier than helping a person love their smile! I greet patients and assist the doctors with restorations, including crowns, fillings, extractions, implants, and removable prosthetics. I also sterilize equipment and handle lab work. I’ve been in the dental field and with the office since 2017. We all want only the best for our patients and each other.

When I’m not at work, you can find me on the softball or soccer field, or the basketball court: I coach all three sports. My boyfriend Matt and I love hunting, fishing, camping, and adventuring, too.

Dental Assistant

I enjoy being part of the Dickinson and Branon Dental Care team. The work I do is highly rewarding. I support our Doctors and Hygienists in providing comprehensive dental care and education. From fillings and crowns, to shifting teeth/bites with Invisalign, dentistry is a fascinating mix of technology, art and continuous learning.

The first time I saw restorative work to reshape and fill front teeth, I was hooked! A beautiful transformation occurred right before my eyes, and our patient left smiling!

While caring for members of our community, from 2 to 92, I strive to provide a positive dental experience. It’s never too early to learn about dental health. It’s never too late to improve our overall health!

Away from the dental office, I love being outside with my husband: hiking, camping, gardening, skiing and snowshoeing, or curled up inside with the cat and dog on a rainy day.
